Bali - Another chapter!!!!
We have been here in Bali for 10 days now and it has been a very mixed time. I have found it really hard to find the enthusiasm to write on the blog since hearing about Terry’s passing. I did not know him in the same way that Gavin did or for as long but he has been such a supporter of our families journey. Never doubting the need for adventure that we feel and encouraging our trip before and during. He seemed to get such a buzz out of what we are doing and I believe it bought back many great memories of his own travels. Knowing that his presence will be missing from future posts and that we won’t have his comments to look forward to has definitely made us both question writing about what we are doing……. except of course Carol was very right in her last comment. That Terry thrived on our enthusiasm and loved what we were doing - having fun!!!! Of course we are writing this blog for many reasons, and it was too easy to forget about those -most importantly we are writing for our selves, so that we can capture our memories as they happen and for our friends and families so they can experience a taste of the life we are living right now!!! So today I have given myself a shake and reminded myself that yes we are far away and that can make you dwell negatively on happenings at home…..but we are on this adventure together the three of us and we are having fun Terry…… lots of fun!!!!! So thanks again for our health and happiness and all of our love to our friends and family - we love and miss you all…… Sending you smiles and warm sunshine!!!!!!!

Hi Gav Han and Tehya,
Wonder where you are at present. Hopefully still enjoying Bali. As you know it is Terry’s funeral on Friday and we must keep this blog site going despite the fact he leaves a gap in it. Well this week Yves St Laurent ( introduced the trouser suit for women in the 60’s )and Bo Didley ( rock star )died so he will be in good company. Can just imagine his conversation with them both. They were his era. Weather here mixed but definately warmer as we move to the summer solstice. Saw a dolphin today in the sea off the Lizard. Wonderful to watch it. Well keep having fun and lots of it. Love you loads. Mum xxx
