I have repaired many customers computers over the years and found that it is just as easy to fix their PCs remotely (via the internet). It is more or less the same as sitting next to the computer in their home but I could be on the other side of the world. The remote access software that I have had most success with are called www.logmein.com and www.pcanywhere.com
