Farming and rural in Cornwall

About farming and rural in Cornwall

Farming and rural work covers a wide range of jobs that keep land and animals in good order. An agricultural contractor can help with field work, a farrier looks after horses' feet, fencing keeps boundaries secure, and a land agent advises on property and land matters. Each trade plays a part in day to day rural life.

Before you hire, ask what the job includes, how soon they can come out and how they charge. For animals, ask about their experience with your type of horse or livestock. For fencing and contracting, ask about materials, timing and how they will handle access to fields. For land advice, ask what the service covers and who you will deal with. It also helps to ask whether they travel to your part of Cornwall.

This page gathers the farming and rural trades listed in the directory. There are no entries at the moment, so check back as businesses are added. When they are, you will be able to see who works nearby and get in touch directly.
