Fascias and soffits in Cornwall

About fascias and soffits in Cornwall

Fascias and soffits are the boards along the edge of your roof, and keeping them in good order protects the structure from rain and wind. In Cornwall, where coastal weather is tough on timber, replacing worn boards with low maintenance materials is a common job. The trade covers fitting fascias, soffits and bargeboards, often alongside guttering and roofline work. Before you hire, ask what materials they use and how they suit an exposed or coastal location, how they deal with any rotten timber underneath, and whether scaffolding is needed and who arranges it. It helps to ask for a written quote, to check what is included in the price, and to find out how long the work will take. Ask how they will keep water out during the job and how they tidy up afterwards. There is one fascias and soffits business listed here. Have a look at the entry, then contact them directly to discuss your roofline and get a quote.
