About Boscawen-Un Stone Circle

Boscawen-Un is a Bronze Age stone circle in farmland near St Buryan, west of Penzance and close to the A30. Nineteen upright stones make an oval about 25 metres by 22 metres, eighteen of granite and one of white quartz, with a single leaning stone near the centre carrying faint carvings. Gorsedh Kernow was founded here in 1928. Parking is very limited and the walk in takes about 20 minutes, with no facilities on site.
