About Duloe Stone Circle

Duloe Stone Circle is the smallest stone circle in Cornwall, set in a field on the edge of Duloe, about four miles north of Looe. It dates from the Bronze Age and is made of eight pale quartzite stones rather than granite. The largest stone, on the south side, stands about 2.65 metres tall and weighs over 12 tonnes, and the ring measures roughly 12 metres by 11 metres. A signed footpath of around 150 metres leads to the circle from the B3254, and entry is free with no facilities at the circle itself.
