Trevone Bay Adventures is a small outdoor activity company based by the beach at Trevone, a sandy cove on the north Cornish coast just west of Padstow. It runs guided kayaking, coasteering, canoeing and stand up paddleboarding along the rugged coast around Trevone Bay and on the more sheltered Camel Estuary, as well as a three hour mixed adventure session and training and coaching. Coasteering lasts about two hours on the water and involves scrambling, swimming and jumping along the rocky shoreline. Wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets and an experienced local guide are provided. The minimum age for coasteering is 10, with younger children possible by prior arrangement, under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and you should be reasonably fit and able to swim at least 50 metres unaided. Private coasteering trips for up to 10 people start from £400. Bring old trainers or wetsuit boots, swimwear, board shorts, a towel and something warm for afterwards.
