Newquay , Trenance Cottages, Trenance Rd, Newquay, TR7 2HW
A community procession of handmade willow lanterns made by local schoolchildren and residents winds through Trenance Gardens. It ends at the historic Trenance Cottages, where the Christmas lights are officially switched on for the season. Everyone is welcome to watch and take part, and organisers say there is no charge to attend. Lantern making workshops run beforehand for families and adults.
