Trevaunance Cove
Trevaunance Cove is the main beach at St Agnes on Cornwall’s north coast — a sheltered sandy cove in the parish of St Agnes, not Mount Hawke. Locals often call it Aggie, and the beachfront Aggie Beach Café sits right on the sand beside the harbour wall.
The cove was once a busy tin-mining harbour; today it is a family-friendly swimming beach with rock pools, occasional surf when swell arrives, and the landmark Driftwood Spars pub above the shore. Dogs are welcome year-round. Parking, toilets and cafés are on site.
At low tide you can sometimes scramble along the rocks to neighbouring Trevellas Porth. The Environment Agency designates Trevaunance Cove as bathing water — check the map for the latest classification.
