A crater transformed

Eden began with an extraordinary Cornish landscape: a worked-out china-clay pit, with little soil and no plants. It was reimagined as a global garden where the story of plants, people and the planet can be explored in one day.

The giant covered Biomes are the headline act, but the outdoor gardens, contemporary art, food and changing seasonal programme make Eden more than a quick photo stop.
