Breage is a village and parish in west Cornwall, about 3 miles west of Helston. The parish runs down to the south coast and takes in Ashton, on the A394 Penzance to Helston road, as well as Praa Sands, Godolphin Cross, Rinsey and Trew.

The village is named after Saint Breaca, an Irish missionary. Her 15th century granite church has five medieval wall paintings on the north wall. Inside is a Roman milestone naming the Emperor Postumus, and the churchyard has an unusual Hiberno-Saxon cross head.

This was tin and copper country, and the parish shows signs of mining going back two thousand years. Great Wheal Fortune worked from 1855 to 1880 and is now a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Tregonning Hill, to the west of the parish, is protected for its wildlife.

The Queen's Arms sits in the centre of the village, close to the church. CAMRA describes it as a lively country inn with a long bar, a separate dining room and a garden.

Praa Sands, a mile of south facing sand on Mount's Bay, is about a mile south of Ashton. The National Trust's Godolphin estate, with its medieval garden and historic house, is at Godolphin Cross in the north of the parish. Porthleven and Helston are a short drive east.
