About Cornwall Falconry

Cornwall Falconry is a small family business run by Gerard and Gemma, offering private bird of prey experiences on their farm near Bugle, north of St Austell, in Luxulyan parish. It is not a drop in visitor centre with set flying displays. Every experience is booked in advance and is private and very hands on, with the birds flown free over the farm's meadows and fields. Options include the Raptor Experience, a hawk walk, and a Falconers Day Experience from 10am to 3pm for up to two guests, in which Gerard covers free flying, basic feeding, training and the day to day management of the birds. Tea and coffee are included on the full day, and guests are asked to bring a packed lunch. The business has offered bird of prey experiences since 2012 and has recently moved to its current Cornwall location. Experiences run seven days a week by appointment, booked through the website or by phone or email, and gift vouchers valid for 12 months are available. Sessions take place outdoors on farmland, so dress for the weather.
