About Hannafore Point

Hannafore Point is the western end of the Hannafore seafront at West Looe, where the road gives way to the South West Coast Path. It is a favourite spot for a short stroll with wide views of Looe Island and the bay.

What to expect

The rocky shore here forms part of the Hannafore rock pooling area, best explored around low tide. From the point the coast path heads west to the quiet beach at Portnadler, about 0.8 miles away, then around Hore Point to Talland Bay, a further 2.4 miles, and on to Polperro. Parking at Talland Bay is very limited and the lanes are narrow, so walking there is the easier option.

Finding Hannafore Point
