About Tregiffian Burial Chamber

Tregiffian Burial Chamber is a Neolithic or early Bronze Age chambered tomb beside the B3315 between Lamorna and St Buryan. A walled and roofed entrance passage leads to a central chamber, and the large kerb stones of the mound remain visible. Half of the tomb was lost in 1846 when the road was built. The cup and ring marked stone on site is a replica; the original is in the Royal Cornwall Museum in Truro. English Heritage, free entry.
