About Colwith Farm Distillery

Colwith Farm Distillery is a plough to bottle distillery on a fifth generation family farm at Pelyn Cross, near Lanlivery and Lostwithiel. The Dustow family grow the potatoes that are distilled into their Aval Dor vodka, which takes its name from the Cornish word for potato, and they also make gins on site. Visitors can book a guided distillery tour, a tutored tasting, a gin or vodka school, or a gin or vodka masterclass, and the visitor centre has a shop selling the spirits. A seasonal Farm to Fork cafe serves food from Tuesday to Saturday. The distillery and shop open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and Saturday, 11am to 5pm, with hours that may change through the seasons, so check before travelling. Tours involve tasting, so plan for a designated driver. It suits gin and vodka fans and visitors exploring Lostwithiel, Fowey and the Fowey valley.
