About Beachcomber

Beachcomber is a ground floor holiday apartment at Maer, on the north side of Bude, about a mile and a half from the town centre. It sleeps four in two bedrooms, one double and one twin, and is a short stroll from the beach and the local pub.

What to expect

Inside there is a sitting room with TV, a kitchen diner with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge freezer, and a shower room with a walk in shower. Books, games and WiFi are provided, and heating, power, bed linen and towels are included. Outside there is a private patio with furniture, a shared south facing lawn and off road parking for one car. There is a step up into the property and a step down to the patio.

Good to know

No pets and no smoking. The beach is about 0.7 miles away, the pub 0.2 miles and the nearest shop just under a mile.

Maer is the quiet north side of Bude, around Maer Lane and the cliffs above Crooklets Beach. Crooklets is known for surfing and rock pools, Northcott Mouth is a short walk north on the coast path, and Maer Lake is a wetland reserve popular with birdwatchers. Summerleaze and the town centre are a walk south.
