Where is Germoe?
Germoe is a village and civil parish in west Cornwall, about 5 miles west of Helston and 7 miles east of Penzance.
What is St Germoe's Chair?
It is a small medieval building set in the wall of the churchyard at Germoe.
What is special about Germoe church?
The parish church is mostly 14th century and stands on the site of a Norman church. Three carved long tailed monkeys on the porch are said to ward off evil.
Who was Saint Germocus?
He was a companion of Saint Breage, and legend says he was a king in Ireland. His feast day is 6 May.
