The Wreck is a four-storey self catering holiday cottage on The Digey in Downalong, the old quarter of St Ives. Built as a 19th century fisherman’s house, it keeps its character with stripped floorboards and an open plan living and dining room, and sleeps up to eight people across four bedrooms. Porthmeor beach is a two minute walk to one side and Fore Street is seconds the other way, with the harbour, Tate St Ives, the School of Painting and the coastal path all close by. Free WiFi for guests and gas central heating. Book direct with the owners.
