Hannafore Beach Cafe

Hannafore Kiosk, listed by many as Hannafore Beach Cafe, is a family run cafe on Marine Drive above Hannafore Beach in West Looe. Don’t let the word kiosk fool you: everything is cooked and baked on site where possible, and the outdoor seating looks across the beach to Looe Island, where you may spot seals.

Food and drink

Breakfasts, hot food and jacket potatoes are served all year, alongside sandwiches, rolls, paninis and pasties. Seasonal menus bring hearty dishes such as chilli, stew and BBQ pulled pork in winter, and fresh crab and salads in spring and summer. The homemade cakes are a local favourite, from flapjacks and brownies to lemon drizzle and scones, and there is Farmer Tom’s ice cream plus hot and cold drinks with oat milk and decaf options.

The kiosk is open all year round apart from Christmas Day. Hours change with the seasons, so check the cafe’s own website or social pages before a special trip.

Dogs and families

As an outdoor venue it is very dog friendly, with a water bowl outside and a doggie menu, and it is a regular stop for dog walkers heading out on the coast path. In summer there is live music and the occasional street food evening.

Hannafore is the seafront at West Looe, a short walk from the harbour. Its shingle and rock beach is known for rock pools at low tide and looks straight out to Looe Island, a marine nature reserve you can visit by boat from Looe harbour.
