About Lewinnick Cove

Lewinnick Cove is the rocky inlet out towards the end of Pentire Headland in Newquay, below Lewinnick Lodge, where the land meets the open Atlantic. It is a place to stop on a coast path walk and watch the sea, rather than a beach for swimming.

What to expect

Expect craggy rocks, crashing waves and big views along the coast. Lewinnick Lodge sits on the hillside above, with a sea view terrace where you can stop for food or a drink, and well behaved dogs are welcome in its bar and on the terrace.
