Via Ferrata Cornwall is an outdoor adventure centre in a granite quarry at the Goodygrane Activity Centre, off the A394 at Longdowns near Penryn. It is about six miles from Falmouth and eleven miles from Truro. The main activity is the via ferrata itself, a protected climbing route with cliff climbing, high wire bridges, rope sections and zip lining, and the routes cater for adventurous eight year olds as well as experienced thrill seekers.

Activities for all ages

Other sessions include a Zip Wire Safari, climbing, archery and a tunnel challenge, along with coasteering, stand up paddleboarding and watersports. The Zip Wire Safari has six smaller practice zip wires and three large ones, and the zip wires are dual so visitors can ride in pairs. The site also has a café, a play area and trails, so younger family members have something to do, and it runs holiday clubs and camping.

Groups can book birthday parties, stag and hen days, school residentials and corporate team building. It suits active families with children aged eight and over, teenagers and groups of friends. Sessions are booked online through the website, where gift vouchers are also sold, so contact the team by email with any questions before booking.
