The coast path itself is well signed, but the rough nature of the ground means you should allow more time than the distance suggests. Then, at the end of the walk, both Polruan and Polperro give you a place to rest, eat and watch the boats. Because buses and ferries connect the area around Fowey, it is possible to plan a one way walk without retracing your steps.
