Mithian is a village in the civil parish of St Agnes, on the north coast of Cornwall. It lies about a mile east of St Agnes and about 6 miles northeast of Redruth. Its Cornish name is Mydhyan.

The village pub stands in the centre. It was built in the 17th century from granite, killas rubble, brick and elvan, with a Delabole slate roof, and was extended over the next two centuries. CAMRA describes thick stone walls, low beams, several snugs, a beer garden and a large car park.

Mithian became its own church parish in 1846. Its church, St Peter's, stands over two miles away, north of Chiverton Cross, and held its last service in 2006. A primary school sits west of the village at Barkla Shop.

The Truro and Newquay Railway once ran just south of the village, with a halt at Mithian from 1905. The line closed in 1963. A bridge over the old trackbed still stands.

For the sea, head west to St Agnes. Trevaunance Cove has a pay car park and is the start of coast path walks into Trevellas Coombe and the Blue Hills valley.
