Newquay Leisure World is the town's main leisure centre, at Trenance Leisure Park, and is run by Better. For families the draw is the leisure pool, kept at 29 degrees, with flumes and water features including the Happy Hippo Flume, the Extreme Orange Flume, a bubbly volcano, the Tippety Toppety Bucket, Sally the Slow Snake and Sammy the Spitting Snake. There is also a six lane, 25 metre pool with sessions from fitness swimming to family fun. Indoors there is a trampoline park and a soft play area, open daily, plus a gym, studios, an outdoor fitness area and a café, so it is a dependable option on a wet day in Newquay. Leisure pool times vary through the day and the week, and different parts of the building open at slightly different times, so check the Better app or website before visiting. The leisure pool has closed for the winter in past years. There is a large pay and display car park with 820 spaces, and the centre has a poolside hoist, accessible changing and lift access.
